Eco – Friendly Ganesha

‘The nature of our future depends on the future of our nature’.
Every year the celebration of Ganesha Chaturthi culminates in the immersion of Ganesha idols into the sea, rivers, ponds or lakes. In a bid to reduce the damage caused by idols made of plaster of pairs and non-biodegradable colours, the students of Little Flower Public School promoted eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi. They made clay idols of Ganesha on this occasion. Enthusiasm among the students was real high. They also got themselves apprised of the ill effects of plaster of Paris on environment.
