ARA Memorial Inter School Sports Meet
The annual ARA Memorial was conducted in Little Flower Public School on 5th, 6th and 7th December, 2019. The three – day event witnessed a spectacular display of perseverance, hard work, skill and brilliance of over 800 students from 30 schools across Bengaluru. The athletes displayed their physical prowess and tenacity in various events like Basketball, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Karate and Yoga. The final day of the event was full of smiles and sunshine with the prizes being awarded to the winners thereby concluding their 3-day extravaganza of sport and tradition.The winners in various events are as follows:In Yoga boys of Little Flower Public School emerged victorious and Mitra Academy bagged the runners up position. The girls team from RNS Vidya Nikethan came first in Yoga and St. Mary’s team was awarded the second position.In Basketball the boys’ team from New Horizon Public School bagged the first place with Little Flower Public School as runners up. The girls’ team of Little Flower Public School beat the team from New Horizon Public School in the finale of Basketball to secure the first place.In Volleyball the boys of Little Flower Public School beat Jyothi Kendriya Vidyalaya and the girls of New Horizon Public School beat the team from Little Flower Public School to secure first place. The boys from Bangalore International Academy emerged victorious beating Sri Kumarans Children’s Home in Table Tennis. In the girls’ category, Sri Kumarans Children’s Home bagged the first place and National Hill View Public School won the runners up place.In Karate, the boys from National Hill View Public School beat Little Flower Public School and the girls from National Hill View Public School beat Mitra Academy to bag the first place.The overall Champions Trophy was awarded to Little Flower Public School.

Visit of Padmashree Sudha Murthy to our School
20th of December 2019 was indeed a blessing to Little Flower Public School, It was because The Kohinoor of gentleness, compassion and epitome to good work was present in Little Flower Public School, i.e. Padmashree Mrs. Sudha Murthy, a privilege to have her with us is our school. She visited our school to release her novel, her short story or her favorite ‘Gopi diaries coming home’.
Scouts and Guides Jamboree
Scouts and Guides Jamboree was held in Doddabalpur for a week. Scouts and Guides from various states had come and they had a lot of activities.
Valedictory day
Little Flower Public School fondly bid adieu to its batch of 2019 – 2020 on February 15. It was the day the students took centre stage; a day the faculty experienced pride, while the parents looked on joyfully. The girls in their ethnic best and the boys in their flamboyant grey suits walked down the aisle in brilliant splendour. The event commenced with the ceremonial procession, followed by lighting of the lamp. The solemn music that ushered them in set the tone for the rest of the evening.
The Principal, Dr. Mrs. B Gayethri Devi, advised the students to strive to make a difference in this world. She urged them to compete with oneself not with the world. She then administered the valedictory oath urging the students to always conduct themselves as responsible citizens. The Chief Guest, Dr. C R Chandrasekhar, impressed everyone with his inspiring words. He encouraged parents to spend quality time with their children and always be their support. He also impressed upon the need for students to choose the right life style for developing their intelligence and memory. The Valedictorians’ speeches touched many hearts and brought tears to many eyes, as the students nostalgically reflected upon their journey in the school and expressed their love and gratitude towards the institution. The school band ‘Red Ants’ gave a rendition of the National Anthem for one last time.
The meritorious students in curricular and co- curricular events were awarded. The toppers of the previous academic year were also felicitated. Another significant feature of the graduation day was the candle lighting ceremony to usher in brilliance and remove the darkness of ignorance. Amidst an enchanting choir ensemble, the memorable function drew to a close leaving the outgoing students with mixed emotions.
Annual Sports Meet
The awaited Annual Sports Day was held on 15th November 2019, with great zeal & excitement. The programme began with the principal, Dr. Mrs. B. Gayethri Devi welcoming the esteemed gathering. The Chief Guest Mr. Girish R Gowda, took the salute of the impressive March Past of the students, coupled with some stirring marching music by the band. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the Sports Captain. An energizing display by the students of Class III & IV set the tone for the rest of the event and the air was filled with cheering and tones of encouragement for the young athletes. The display made way for the highly awaited athletic events where competitiveness among the students soared through the roof.
School Annual Day Celebrations
Little Flower Public School celebrated its Annual Day on 24th& 25th December, 2019 at Nimhans Convention Center. The two day event witnessed 11 shows encapsulating a plethora of performances and a gamut of emotions.
The programme began with ‘Jungle World’ wherein the students of Nursery spread the need to save wildlife that is a precious gift from God to this planet.
The theme for the students of LKG revolved around ‘Dreams Unlimited’. The innocence with which the tiny tots performed enthralled everyone.
The students of UKG accentuated on the importance of our basic necessities and the urgent need to change our life style in their programme ‘Aadhar’
The students of Class I showcased ‘Food World’ promoting the importance of mindful eating and benefits of healthy food. They also expressed their gratitude to farmers with their performance.
The lives of inspiring personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Rabindranath Tagore formed the theme ‘Superstars’ for the students of Class 2.
Next to amaze everyone were the students of Class 3 with ‘KarnatakadaVaibhava’. They set the stage on fire with their colourful dance performance that showed the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka.
The students of Class4 portrayed ‘Manthan’ which enabled them to choose good over evil.
The performance of Class 5 students in ‘Chandamama Baa Baa’ had the audience riveted. The students put up a vibrant display of dances on festivals that are based on the Lunar calendar.
After this, the audience were taken to the musical world of ‘Raaga’ by the students of Class 6. The live musical concert by the students was immensely appreciated.
The most poignant performance ‘The Making of the Mahatma’ by the students of Class 7 exhorted to embrace the Gandhian Principles to address the social issues prevalent in the present times.
Finally, the kaleidoscope of dance and music concluded with ‘Shivoham’, an act inspired by piety and devotion towards Lord Shiva. This colourful array of dance drama bore testimony to the nimble feet of the students of Class 8, 9 and 10. The tale of epic grandeur made the onlookers ecstatic.
The timing and execution of the programmes was perfect all through. Each sequence followed the next seamlessly, stringing together a variety of cultural events.
Under the aegis of the Principal, Dr. Mrs. B Gayethri Devi, the programme became a grand success and received an overwhelming response from the audience.
