Assembly – Theme – World Ocean Day- ‘Wonders Deep Blue’
To mark World Ocean Day, the students of Grade 2D conducted a special assembly on June 13th to create awareness about the importance of oceans and the need to protect marine life. The assembly began with a Thought for the Day, followed by an informative introduction by the class teacher highlighting the role of oceans in sustaining life on Earth.
Students presented a melodious song that conveyed the message of conservation and harmony with nature, followed by a graceful dance performance depicting the harmful effects of plastic waste on marine animals. The assembly concluded with an address by the Headmistress, who encouraged students to become responsible citizens and take small yet meaningful steps to preserve our oceans.
