EYE CAMP
Our school in association with Sunetra Hi-Tech Eye Hospital had organized an Eye camp where the vision of students from class 1 to 10 was checked.
FIELD TRIPS
Little Flower Public School successfully organized a cycle rally on 31st August, 2019. The rally started off from the school and concluded at Shree Rajarajeshwari Temple. The cyclists, who were a part of the scouts and guides team, highlighted on the ever-increasing problem of traffic congestion and atmospheric pollution. Students expressed enthusiasm over the initiative and stressed upon the option of cycling for short distances.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. International Yoga Day was celebrated by the students and teachers at Little Flower Public School with great enthusiasm. A special assembly was organized to immemorate this day. The programme comprised of a speech about the origin of Yoga, its significance and the origin of the celebration of this day. Subsequently, the benefits of yoga for school children were enumerated along with demonstration of various asanas by the students which are beneficial for them to overcome stress, stiffness and improve concentration.
ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR THE PARENTS
An orientation programme was organised for the parents where in Police officers from the Cyber Crime Department addressed the parents about the harmful effects of social media and giving mobile phones to the children.
