Std 1 – Kannada activity (ಚಿಣ್ಣರ ಚೆಲ್ಲಾಟ)
The students of Standard 1 enthusiastically participated in an interactive Kannada language activity ‘ಚಿಣ್ಣರ ಚೆಲ್ಲಾಟ’ designed to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. The programme began with lively Kannada songs on fruits and vegetables, where the children sang with great enthusiasm and confidence.
The young learners then took part in exciting games, identifying different fruits with the help of colourful picture cards, strengthening their vocabulary in a fun way. A highlight of the event was the mini market setup, where children identified various vegetables by their colours and names in Kannada. This hands-on activity encouraged observation, participation, and practical language learning.
The activity beautifully combined music, games, and experiential learning, helping students develop their Kannada vocabulary while building confidence and communication skills in an engaging and joyful environment.
