Std VI – Visit to the HMT Heritage Centre and Museum
The students of Class VI had an enjoyable and educational visit to the HMT Heritage Centre and Museum, Jalahalli, Bengaluru. The trip gave them a chance to learn about India’s engineering heritage and technological development in an interesting and interactive way.
The visit began with an informative audio-visual presentation on the history of HMT. The students then explored the museum galleries, where they saw a fascinating collection of vintage watches, clocks, tractors, machine tools, and other engineering products. They were excited to learn how these machines and timepieces have changed over the years.
After exploring the museum, the students spent some time in the beautiful park within the campus. They also enjoyed an exciting tractor ride, which was one of the highlights of the trip.
The students were well-behaved, followed all the instructions, and participated enthusiastically throughout the visit. They returned to school with happy memories and a better understanding of India’s engineering achievements and technological progress.
