Environment Day Assembly
The students of class VIII contributed to observe World Environment Day through a soul stirring assembly. Dhruv and Nivea led the audience through the line of events which started with the rendition of a Kannada song followed by Poornachandra, voicing the plight of the earth and asking everyone to be more mindful of human activities which might harm the environment. The programme was at its best when the students staged a mime show which focused on conserving our natural resources. Students also put up a foot tapping dance on the theme, ‘One Earth’. The programme concluded with asking the audience to take a pledge to be responsible to the fellow beings of earth.
