Assembly – Theme – Environment Day- ‘Leaf and Life Festival’
To mark World Environment Day, the students of Grade 2A conducted a special morning assembly on June 6th, focusing on the importance of caring for our planet. The assembly began with a soulful prayer, followed by the Thought for the Day, reminding everyone that “The Earth does not belong to us; we belong to the Earth.”
A brief and impactful speech by the class teacher highlighted the need for environmental conservation and how small actions can lead to big changes. Students then presented a creative dance depicting the harmful effects of pollution and wastage, followed by a melodious song on nature that filled the atmosphere with hope and inspiration.
